The surrounding area invites you year-round for cycling, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, surfing, SUPing, sailing, ski touring, skiing, fishing, and much more, or simply to enjoy and linger. In the nearby towns of Bad Endorf, Prien, and Bernau, you'll find swimming pools, climbing gyms, and many shopping opportunities, among other things. Many things can be rented locally (surfing, SUP, bikes, e-bikes). Salzburg is 78 km away, Munich 96 km, and both Salzburg and Munich have airports.
